
The Gauteng Agroprocessing Convention and Expo 2026, hosted by the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD), will take place from 2–3 July 2026 at Emperors Palace Convention Centre. Approximately 500 delegates are expected to attend.
The Expo aims to:
- Mobilise public-private partnerships to drive investment, growth, and job creation in the agroprocessing sector.
- Develop a unified agenda for agroprocessing sector development across Gauteng and the City Region.
- Institutionalise collaboration through sector-specific roundtable engagements.
- Strengthen linkages between SMMEs and potential funders to support commercialisation and business growth.
International World Flour Day – 20 March (annually)
The concept to establish an international Flour Day was initiated and driven by the World Flour Museum in recognition of the milling industry and a fundamental role it plays worldwide as provider of one of the most important staple foods of humankind.
